Sawyer @ Kaleidoscope

I tried to upload some photos from our trip to Kaleidoscope at Crown Center, but I'm running into technical difficulties. Check out the link to his album on the right and you'll see them. He's learning new words every day now and is stringing them together in two and three word sentences. We're teaching him a ton of new animals, shapes, numbers and letters. Soon he'll be teaching us!

Ribbit....ribbit....

Well, it's time for Halloween and Sawyer's decided to be a frog this year. He's putting together two word sentences now, like "please" or "more" and whatever it is he wants. "Hi" and "Bye" are also some standards. He loves to tell people he has "boogies" in his nose, which has become his standard greeting. We'll have to get a pic of his pal, Mr. Bear, on here soon. Sawyer likes to play with him when he wakes up first thing in the morning. They have some great conversations (that we can't understand) but I'm sure they're brilliant.

A few Gymboree pics for you all. Sawyer is talking up a storm now. Matter of fact, we can't really get him to shut up. =) He's into everything now and is wearing himself out by about 7 pm each night. Enjoy the pics.

I love to drive!

Daddy's been very lax in updating the blog, so I finally had to drive over and bug him to add some new stuff. Check out my car. I'll be driving over to see you soon. For those that are counting, I've got over 100 words and sounds now. I'm walking, talking and getting into everything. More to come. Daddy promises. =)

It's my Birthday!!!

Okay, so Daddy's a little late getting pics up this month. He had a few shows, so he's been lax on the blog duty. Enjoy macho's cake poses from his 1st birthday party (although his real B-day isn't until July 5th). He LOVES cake, so we'll have to keep an eye on that!

Aw, Grandpa that's a funny one!

Grandpa Stan got to visit today, which got Sawyer all riled up and running around. He's doing a lot more now, so here's the quick list.
Animals he can make a sound for:
Duck, Elephant, Tiger, Fish, Sheep, Bear, Pig and Monkey.
Sign language he knows words for:
More, Please, Eat, Sit Down, Cheese, Book, Juice, Ball, Car, Kiss, Walk and Play.
Other cool stuff:
When the air conditioning comes on, he says "Brrrrr", which is very cute.
He's cruising around and took his first few steps yesterday, but isn't quite a biped yet. =)
Also, he had his first play date with Abby Jean Morrison the other day and they had a great time! They did not get a chance to play the "Animal Game", but it is only a matter of time for all the offspring of Full Frontal Comedy members!

Mom, I swear I was only looking up the news!

If he's not supposed to be in it or around it, you can be sure that's where he is now. Walking can only be around the corner the way he's moving around the house. He's got his spoken word for "doggie" now, although it sounds like "daddy" but he follows it up with his version of "woof woof". He can say "hat", "all done", "eat", "more", and "please" in sign language and loves to blow raspberries now. He also waves "hi" and "bye" along with saying it.

Accident Prone?

Okay, so we took these photos and not 3 minutes later Sawyer cut his eyelid by finding the only thing not padded in our house. Again, he's okay and it's all superficial, but if your medical insurance goes up next year, you'll probably have us to blame. =) Sawyer's learned to say "book" in sign language and wave "hi" and "bye" now. He's also able to use specific words in sign if we ask him. All in all, a very smart cookie, unless this last blow to the head wiped it all out! ;)

Oooh, Chewy! You're in trouble!

Yesterday gave us quite a scare as a family. Chewy just lunged at Sawyer from out of nowhere and our little buddy has some bite marks to show for it. In the realm of all things possible for a dog bite, we are a very lucky group. Regardless, Chewy is going to be transitioning to a new home until Tricia and Josh are able to take him. Sawyer is fine and it's all very superficial stuff you see here.

Well, we got his hair to stay down for a few minutes to shoot these photos. He's cruising around the house now, so it's time to break out the gates before he's walking on his own. =) He's found out he likes pasta and cheese and we'll be moving on to more exciting stage 3 foods soon.
