Happy Halloween

Well, I'm a zebra this year. Ain't I scary? My little sister was a monkey and we had a great time trick or treating with mom and dad.  Most of the photos are from when I was at the Rockhurst Halloween party, but dad managed to snap one of me actively begging for candy.  I had a big party today at Border Star, too.  The whole family was there and I got to make cookies and had a costume parade early in the day.  It was cool!

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch in Liberty today.  Sawyer and his buddy Lucas got to hang out and play.  He rode the train, played in a small corn maze, went down the slide and climbed the pirate ship.  Halfway through the day, he turned into Spiderman!  It was a fun time for everyone.

Sawyer's First Day of School

I've waited sooo
long and it's FINALLY my first day of school!!!  It started with a yummy pancake breakfast that my daddy made me.  Then I got to pick out my uniform and I got dressed all by myself.  After what seemed like forever we got into the car and drove to Border Star School.  We went into the auditorium and said something mommy called the Pledge of Allegiance...I don't know.  Then mommy, daddy, Scarlett, and I went to my classroom and met my teacher, Mrs. Tate, and some of my new friends.  We started the day with PE and got to play on the playground.  I got to swing at school!!  Mommy did really well. She didn't even cry.

My Birthday Party

I know I've been so behind with posting blogs but I've been really great about keeping up with the baby books and photo albums so two out of three, right?  Anyway, Sawyer has turned three and celebrated with a 'Finding Nemo' birthday party at the YMCA.  Here are a few pictures:

Earth Day

We went to an Earth Day celebration in our neighborhood and Sawyer got a tattoo and rode a horse named Kiawa.  He had a great time!

I'm a Chef

I have had this cooking and spice set for some time now but my dad just got around to helping me make one of the recipes in the included cookbook.  I made cinnamon stars with cinnamon, sugar, butter, and toastie bread.  My favorite part was blowing all the extra cinnamon/sugar off of the bread, although my dad didn't find it as amusing.  It tasted GREAT!!
